More Wheel & Tire Advice Needed
I'm new to this site, and Acura. 2 monthes ago I picked up a black 06 w/tech pkg with 18k miles for my wife. I'm very interested in dePAXing it by winter being we live at 6300' in Lake Tahoe. I've been hunting around and think I've come up with the wheels & tires that I'd like to get, but want to know if anybody has run what I'm looking at? I'm looking to stay with 18" wheels because Tahoe has only 2 seasons, winter & road work! There is also the high cost and limited selection of 19" a/s tires. Has anyone had the below wheels on there RL? I'm worried about them clearing the brakes. Also, has anyone ran these tires for any length of time where there is moderate snow? The snow performance is going to be what will make my wife the happiest, but I don't want to go over to 2 sets of wheels. This setup should also be the correct ride height for the cmbs.

Call the wheel manufacturer for fitment info.
After manufacturer assurances, get a fitment guarantee from the retailer.
Don't forget to get TPMS installed in each wheel and the proper lug nuts. Also ensure hubcentric fit. Most aftermarket wheels have a big bore and depend on centering rings for a hubcentric fit. Without hubcentric fit, you will find unacceptable vibration and be putting additional strain on the lugs because they were not designed to support the weight of the car. The hubs were. The lugs are to hold the wheels tight to the hubs.

Chas2 - Thanks, how much are hub rings if they have the bigger BMW hub bore? Also, from some other threads it appears that the Tire Rack tpms sensors work with the Acura system, is $125 for 4 a good price?
Usually included with the price of the wheel. Make sure it is sized to fit an Acura/Honda hub of 64.1 mm.
I cannot comment on the Tire Rack price. Call an internet parts dealer such as Ray Laks Acura or Curry Acura to get an idea. It seems like a decent price, however. I have read but not personally confirmed TPMS from the dealer is more like $40 a piece.
