Missing lug nut key

I went to rotate my tires today and found that my lug nut key has gone missing. Last time I know I had it was to do the front brakes a few months back. I have a feeling the key somehow made it's way in to the old box with the old rotors.

Anyone know if I can order a replacement?

Yes you can. Likely they are McGard lugs nuts. You can take a picture of the pattern on the lock nut and send it to McGard where they match it up with a key and send it to you.

Assuming the wheel lock key is/was an OEM one, your local Acura dealer can remove them as they have a master set. I think I read there are only 10 or so different keys. If you play your cards right, they might even give you the correct key. Otherwise a brand new set can be had for relatively short money. My biggest concern would be getting a flat out on the road and not being able to change the tire. You can review this thread as well - https://acurazine.com/forums/tires-w...ptions-849061/

Hope you find it, getting it off will take many hours of frustration and you'll likely damage the stud. Never again will I put wheel locks on. I had them on my sequoia, I put a gun on it to get it off and it stripped. Took it to dealer and took them 4 hrs to get it off and I needed a new stud. You'll likely need an air chisel to get it off.

When I bought my TL, I forgot to check for the lug nut key! I went to Acura and bought one, but then they somehow gave me the wrong one! What a pain...had to go back again.

My advice is to check the lug nut key to see if it fits before you leave the dealer!

Maybe because you used a gun?? I actually had my wheel lock key break with the metal design snap off in the top of one of my wheel locks. Essentially I had no way of getting the wheel lock off even if I got a new key because the one wheel lock was "key" broken off in the top of the lock. I went to Sears and got a 19mm deep socket, hammered it onto the wheel lock and had it off in about 5 mins. Cost me about $7 for the deep socket but I was able to remove the lock with no damage to rim or stud.
For the OP, sounds like he has 4 wheel locks to get off so I still say hit the local Acura dealer. And as I understand it - Honda wheel locks are different than Acura ones, at least in terms of the lock designs and master key sets.
