Lug nut thread engagement question

Looking for an opinion guys. I've got a set of wheels that need at least a 6mm spacer to clear the brakes. I've got 8mm ones on there now for the test fit, and I've got about 7.5 turns of engagement when the lugs are fully tight.

Do you guys think this is enough, or do I buy a thinner spacer? On one hand I know thinner is better, but on the other hand I'm wondering how much more thread engagement 1.5mm will give me.
