Lug nut question

Hi guys recently I purchased this lug nuts but I'm a little skeptical about putting them on. I've never use aluminum light weigh lug in my life. Have someone install this in their RL. http://www.workwheelsonline.com/work...-lug-nuts.html

Please advise.

P/S: I'm using aftermarket wheels ( work sc1 ) if that helps.

This particular set will not fit. The specs read 12x1.5, which works on the Acura/Hondas with 5x144 bolt circles, but not Acura/Hondas with 5x120 bolt circles. The 5x120 bolt circle cars, including the RL uses 14x1.5 lug bolts

Thank you for clearing that out Chas2. I remembered you did say that on PM. I don't think Work sells 14x1.5 bolts. The majority of the work lug install it's the TL or Lexus IS250 which they have the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Do you know what good set comparable with Work lugs? I wonder if Acura has slim bolts in 14x1.5. I'll call them shortly.

I have not found 14x1.5 tuner lugs, but I looked over a year ago.

To my knowledge, Acura only makes chromed steel lug nuts, and they are flat seat with washer or ball seat, depending on the OEM wheel lug seat.

Make sure you know what the lug seat is for the Work wheels. Those lug nut seats are probably 60 degree acorn seats, but that is just a guess.

Your guess is correct Chas2. I need the conical seat budge in 60 degree in 14.1.5 This is what I'm considering getting if my local auto parts don't have

In some ways, the acorn is a good thing. It is the most common aftermarket seat that will give you more options than the Honda flat or ball seats.

Maybe see what RonJon has in the way of lug nuts.

Otherwise you can always go ebay, though I have no idea if they are really forged, or if the seat is correct.

you can order 14x1.5 open end lugs off of wheelfire.com that's probably the only place that sells them, then again I might be wrong.

I ordered a set of Work wheels and need to buy the lug nuts while I wait. What's everyone's opinion on the ones on eBay? Can they be trusted? Are there any other options for black 14x1.5 lug nuts? And do you guys prefer open- or close-end?

Check the McGard and/or Gorilla offerings. They both offer tuner sets that are packaged with the lug nuts and wheel locks.
