Hi, I installed H&R springs over new A-Spec struts and I would like to know how long does it take for the springs to settle? I will do alignment hopefully when it's fully settled.

I have heard different sources saying different settling times, some say 1-2 weeks, and some 3-6 months, and some say no need to wait for settling at all because the springs are already made to account for load stress.

Anyways, I have BRAND NEW set of HFP springs in my hand. So anyone wants modest drop with firmer ride please let me know.

Maybe 5 miles. It should settle pretty quickly.

do i need to disconnect the struts from the top if I'm installing the springs or I can just accomplish that without taking off the struts? And does it lower the car as well?

You need to do it for the front because it is a whole unit. For the back you don't.
