Honda Legend Kb1 - Creaking noise from the rear

Hello,

Last week I've heard a creaking noise from the rear.
This occurs when I go slow and brake slowly to a stop. (At least this is when I hear it)
Does not sound like any brake components.
I shook the rear wheels sideways (in and out) really hard and i could here this noise.

Do you have any ideas on what usually makes this noise?
Some control arm or bushing that is common to get worn out?

Thanks in advance
Lowpass

some ideas;

wheel bearing
bushings
suspension
etc.

your description is very broad and DOESNT narrow down ANYTHING, plus since we cannot inspect your vehicle over the internet...it's going to be hard to narrow down your noise.

I've also found out that I can feel/hear a little bit of play when i push the wheel really hard.
I do not get the same feel/noise when I do it in the front.
Maybe some ball joint I am thinking. Can also be wheel bearing but it felt like it is not.
Is it common that some of the ball joints/control arms get worn out in the back?

Thank you for your feedback

a car is a machine. machine's having moving parts. moving parts fail.
it may be uncommon for rear suspension to fail, but it still has moving parts, and ANY ONE OF THOSE COMPONENTS can squeak or make a noise.
since you have FIRST hand visuals on it, look at the control arms and their ball joints. do they look good?

Yes of course,

Will raise the car soon to take a better look.
I started the thread just to see if there is a common problem in the rear of the suspension.
As I found a thread earlier about the front lower control arms, which helped me alot.

Will update soon

your assumption of ball joints and wheel bearings are on the right track. Keep investigating

I realized that the sound only occured after some driving.
No sounds in the beggining when everything was cold.
I took a chance and replaced rear rotors and pads.
The sound seems to be gone now!

Thus it did not sound as something brake related at all, this seemed to be the solution.
Thank you everyone!
