Great deal on Pirelli Cinturato P7 245/45/R18...

I don't how long it will last but I ordered a set! I chatted with a rep from Tirerack and he said they are kept in a climate controlled warehouse with no exposure to sunlight. So in theory dry rot shouldn't be an issue. Seemed like a screaming deal for a very highly rated tire. I don't know if there is a similar deal in other sizes. I have the A-spec wheels on my 2005 RL so I got lucky finding this deal.

I just got a set of 4 Cinturato's (All Season "Plus") for my RL with A-Spec. These replaced Michelin Primacy MXM4 that were on the car for 3 years.
I've only done a little commuting so far, so the impressions are still early. First impressions are that they feel like they have more rolling resistance than the Michelins (could impact around-town MPG a little). They also seem a bit firmer on the road, and at least initially I think they're a little bit louder as well.
They were reasonably priced vs the Michelins, and I have to fill out the rebate-y stuff.

If they aren't rolling as easily, bump up the inflation 3-4 PSI. That could help the noise as well.

We'll....drove the car back home, and can already tell a HUGE difference. My steering wheel doesn't shake anymore, and the tires are super quiet.
I can also say the ride is a bit softer as well. I think I will be loving these tires!

These tires are all season, but they've been proven this morning to do great on snow.
