Depaxed 2nd gen RL Suspension questions

I've de-paxed my '06 RL and replaced them with OEM 17" rims for non-tech '06 RL with new Pirelli P7 Centaurino tires. I know that the PAX tires were a bunch heavier and I expected some handling differences. What I notice most is that every bump we hit seems to be much harsher than they were before the change. I have drilled around for hours now but can't find a link to anyone who has modified the suspension to tame the ride down. With the old suspension being so hard, I would think that someone might have taken the challenge on. In my head I'm thinking that this might be just a matter of swapping out struts/springs all around with the OEM struts/springs for a non-tech '06 RL. I'm sure it can't really be that simple, so what else changes?

I was wondering if you ever figured your issue out. Btw can you provide the specs for the wheels you purchased and the Pirrelli tires. I just bought my 08 RL and having a world of trouble finding somewhere to replace the pax tires on the front.

Cheers!
