FOR the upper arm, a pickle fork worked for me. I wouldn’t know about the lower one since I had to use a torch and a press to separate it lmaoooo

Save yourself money and go to an auto parts store like Autozone and rent a ball joint separator for FREE! It should work on the upper ball joint. Lower ball joint is a bit stubborn so use a sledge hammer, the bigger the better, and pound it a few times to shock it and it should pop out.
