Buying these rims for my car but....

I have an 05' RL and a car with these wheels were traded into my dealership. They are BBS RGR. The wheel says RG719H, so the sizing for that particular rim would be 17 x 8.0 l 5x120 l + 40. I really don't know much about wheels as far as the pattern and size goes... will these fit onto the RL without changing anything?

Sounds like all you've got to do is test fit to know for sure. It's been said over and over again but the large front caliper on the RL makes it difficult to accurately answer this.

You could call BBS, but on the web, the only applications for the RL are the BBS RE in 18 and 18. However, the Tire Rack has adapted what we believe to be BMW BBS RE's 18x9, with a centering ring and new lugs nuts.

If you buy these, do a test fit. If you are actually going to buy 17's, why not 18's and get a much larger selection of rubber? Or if you are going to spend the kind of money BBS wheels usually cost, there are amazingly light wheels you can get from other sources, such as Enkei Racing. But since they are at a dealership, do a test fit on the front, and measure the hub so you can get centering rings...also take note of the lugs needed...

well im getting these wheels for $200 for the set because they were traded in with a car in my dealership and we (bmw) can't certify the car without OEM parts... so they are pretty much giving them away. if it was my choice i would slap 18's at the very least. 19 would be ideal. so, the best bet would be to put the car on the lift as see if the rim fits and rotates properly?

Yes, exactly, if they mount up to the front and spin over the caliper freely, all you've got left to do is get hub spacers to fill up the gap.

Good price but they may look small because of the outer lip.

Hey if they fit, $200 for 4 BBS wheels is a steal.

If they fit, this is a no brainer for $200 bills!
