2008 Acura TPMS Question

Today I had a light on my dash, and a message saying TIRE PRESSURE ERROR SYSTEM FUNCITON NORMAL.... and with the image of the car the back left tire is blinking.

However checking the pressure on the back tire it is full (actually 5lbs higher than suggested).

Is this the sign of a bad TPMS sensor?

I believe blinking light is usually low/bad battery.

So sounds like I need a new TPMS sensor if that is the case and the battery is dying.
