Looks nice. I think if you get a full body kit, it will fill up the ground clearance. Good work

Pretty amazing looking photos! How low did you go? H&R's? Looks like they just tuck under!

What are the specs on these wheels?!!
size
offset
weight
need a hub ring
tpms compatible
etc

and what sized tires did you get? Bigger than 245?

Thanks for the details!

Did you not use a hub ring because the bore size was 64.1mm?

Do you notice any vibration, handling, acceleration or braking differences with the larger diameter, heavier wheel and tire combination?

How is the ride with such a low profile and the H&R's?

Are these the Nitto Neogens? If so, they have an awesome looking tread design.

I have no vibration or handling issues because of the sh-awd. acceleration was affected but I modded the car for cruising and not extreme track conditions but I must say that even with the rubberbands we were blasting 135mph +++ lvn our megameet at stone mountain a few weeks back. The tire /wheel combo is the same width and only a fraction larger in diameter so everything is perfect.

my car has 22's too. and i did loose some accelaration power. but overall i have the same comments as ehill520. no issues with rubbing. i haven't dropped the car.

because your rims are tucked in mine actually stick out a lil bit. mine are 22 x 9.5 thats why...

but overall nice car bro...

Yes, there would be since he said the overall diameter is larger. Use the 1010 tire calculator to find out how much. The tire manufacturer spec tables would likely give you more accurate measurements, but apparently it is not much.

And at 135, he was probably bouncing off the speed limiter!

i'll make a video shown me accelerating up to 135 then you can see for yourself that the ride is EXACTLY like stock. I gotta find the site that caculated the speedo difference but it wasn't even a 1mph difference with my current set up

Sorry, been busy as hell, yeah I've got a stock 05 BLK on BLK. I'm on the east side, on the way to conyers, right off I-20.

When was there a meet in Stn Mtn? That's like 15 minutes away from me. i see so few RL's on the east side. Just one white one, a couple silvers, and one other black.

DAMN those are huge! But I like them!

Have you considered getting the A-Spec kit? It would help make the car look lower to the ground than it actually is

Do it!

Fiberglass isn't bad. All these cheap thin Ebay kits have given fiberglass a bad name. As long as its thick enough and well laid it will be very stron while still being able to flex. Not urethane flex but flex nonethe less.

You ordering it now or just thinking about it? Cause that 2 month wait time is killer. Oh and don't forget to add the bodyshop time. You would be so anxious about it you probably couldn't stand it. Lol

What are you doing to your S?

And, do the body kit...we'll be waiting when it's done.

Sell the CL

Do NOT get the TL Use the money for the kit.

Tough it out in the RL for a bit (lol really) and order the kit.

In the 2 months your waitinig for the kit youll get the s2k done.

Get the kit installed on the RL while you tough it out in the S2k (lol really again)

couple of weeks later you have the only RL with that body kit in the US.

Enter a couple of shows and win some cash prices to recoupe, and enjoy the ride.

Was that the help youu needed.

I wish it could be that simple but actually im in the hole an addntl 13k with the s2k doing a supercharger, kit/re-paint, suede interior and some r1 drift race wheels 20x10 rear w/a 5in lip and 19x8 front. I can only get about 8k max for the cl so i think i will jus let that remain my everyday car. i sold my 04MDX assuming those proceeds would fund the whole project but needless to say,I NEED A SPONSOR!!!!! LOL

Did you have to make any modifications to get the 22s on? Or were any modifications you did make because you wanted too? I am looking to put 22s on my car and was just curious if they’d fit right on with any issue.
