Would a mod like this invalidate my Acura Care Extended Warranty?

Fogs use H11's. I bought Blue Lumines for mine. Doesn't really showcase the blue, but does have a nice tint to it. Not sure on the license plate, haven't done anything with those.

Hey guys, took the plunge yesterday and bought the 5Zigen rims. 19x8.5. FYI for anyone looking at them, the guy told me the RL needs a +39-+50 on the offset. The 5Zigen on the site only shows going up to +38. However, after he spoke with the rep, they do offer a +45. Rims are on the way, I'll post some pics as soon as I have them on!

I went with the +45. I realize it'll cost me 1/4" of lip, but that still leaves 1 3/4" lip on the rim. Should look nice.

Jay,

I just realized you might be looking at the same wheels I am - 5Zigen SC3000!!! Isn't that ironic, plus we own the same color RL! I ordered one of the Hyper Black wheels to do a "dry" fit to see how they look and fit. I also went with the 19x8.5 but with the +38 offset. They assured me that would be best for me, and told me that there was something with the +45 wheel... I can't recall what it was though...

Would there be interest in pictures of just the wheel with no tire? Just wondering... I will put it in the front as well as in the rear to look for clearances.

LMK,

LMK,
Hi Roy!

Yep, that's the one I ordered. Odd, we're hearing opposite things. Yours saying the +38 will work best and mine saying I have to do the +45. Will be interesting to see. I went with the Hyper Silver. Once you have the wheel on the front I'd LOVE to see pics of it!

Great taste man!

L8r,
Yes, stuck with the standard tire. I went with the Yokohama Advan S.4. Looking forward to this pics (hopefully I'll have some soon too)!

Here goes nothing! These are pictures of the 5Zigen SC3000 in Hyper Black, 19x8.5 and +38 offset without tire. I ordered just one to do a dry fit. Sorry, but the only way to do it was like this. It did help me look at the color combo, and kinda get a liking for it.

Comments welcome... (my first attempt at posting imageshack pictures!!!).

Hey Roy! Thanks for the pics. You may want to size them down a bit. If you're not sure how just PM me and I can help. Those look SWEET! Incidentally, it looks as though mine will be +38 as well. After arguing with me about needing +45, he spoke with 5Zigen and they told him the +38 will fit and the +45 only comes in the 9.5 so it won't. I specifically asked this guy the same thing. Oh well. Good news was, the 5Zigen rep has been asked about this rim ALOT from RL owners. They are very familiar with it! I should have mine on no later than early next week. Pics to come!

Awesome, missed this last time through the thread. Glad to hear another Acurazine user is happy with these. I've had great luck with Yokohama in the past. I had them on my 300z Convertible years ago.

@Roy, I paid $295 shipped for the rims. Got a package deal with the tires so it worked out well. I snagged the TPMS sensors off of ebay for $35 a pop, which was nice (they wanted $69 a pop).

I'm praying I'll have them Friday, but latest next week.

Touge can help you out with it. You'll have to have it imported from Japan, so that can take a while. I started a new thread for my car once I got my 5Zigen rims on. Here's the link with updated pics:
