Finally after nearly a day of work on this, taking it to the shop to get bolts cut, and driving home with the exhaust system disconnected...I have installed the RV6 J-Pipe and I come bearing pictures pointing out different parts to help anyone that is interested in doing this install....Enjoy!

I love it! To be honest I only noticed a small difference at first with normal driving, but then I realized It was a bit easier taking off from a red light. I really noticed the difference though was when I got on the interstate..usually I will have to kick it down to third or second gear to merge quickly into traffic but I was still able to accelerate pretty well in 4th gear! Also going from 60 to 80+ mph is a breeze! I remember last week some Charger was trying to cut me off merging into traffic and I barely got past him (had to go from 60 to 90) before the on ramp ended. This will definitely help in those scenarios!
Also did anyone have problems tightening two of the bolts? It was a tight fit getting the pipe on and two of the bolts were so close to the pipe that I had to put them on with a hand wrench because the socket was too big to fit on the nut head without hitting the side of the pipe. Would a shop have special tools for tightening bolts in these situations?

just like the jpipe, the PCD's shifts the whole power band higher.
the OP wrote that "it was easier starting off at red lights"
you'll get this feeling again, when adding PCDs.
throttle response becomes more smooth and the car feels much more lighter.
the drawback of PCD's is that if you live in an area where they do emission testing, you'll fail.
in other words: you'll gain low end torque, but upper RPMS is where you'll really feel it.

did you know excelerate performance makes a j-pipe for the RL as well? would you have gotten that instead over the RV6?

I can't believe that removing the third cat didn't affect the noise of the exhaust at all. I was considering this J pipe with the high flow pre cats but was worried about noise level but maybe i shouldn't be concerned.
