tire psi read accurate?
My 2006 seems to read psi high,,,I run 32psi all tires, when I am on road and check psi, screen reads 39-40-41 psi range,,,way high,,,when tires are 'cold' and I check psi via 2 pressure 'stick' guages, psi shows 32psi,,,I check same via of info screen and it reads 37psi,,,this is telling me the 'computer' read is at least 15.6% off!,,,
Thoughts- similiar reads?,,,
Thanks.

Mine is spot-on accurate.... of course, tires get higher in pressure as they warm up (Ideal Gas Law, anyone?) but you knew that.
There's a calibration feature for it, but I'd check it with a GOOD, dial-type gauge before messing with the TMPS settings. Really, I'd just take it to your dealer and let them handle it.

mine seems to read accurate and unfortunately I got to watch one tire go down to zero.
Got a puncture 2 weeks ago. The system alerted me to pressure problem and I switched to the TMPS screen and got to see the pressure fall from about 25 psi to 15 psi very quickly. It happened right before I was about to get on the Freeway so it probably saved my tire as I pulled over quickly and changedd it.
By the way - has anyone noticed the color of the RIM on the doughnut spare? Check it out - you don't want to drive around with that very long.
