Solution for Streaming Audio Wirelessly
I was approached by a customer asking if I could do this 'hack' in his Range Rover Sport, after doing some research I'm thinking it will be an easy add-on and now want to do it in my RL because it will be a much easier solution for streaming music wirelessly. Seems like a easy add-on and I will bury all the components under the centre console where the aux jack is.
Here is a LINK to how it's done. TL;DR - By modifying the power supply of an apple airport express and using a power step down module, you can add an open wifi connection in your vehicle to stream HQ music into the aux port. It can be used with iOs & Android devices. Hoping to pick one up and try it out ASAP. |
Or just buy a nav tool and a bluetooth adapter. :dunno:

What you mean buy a nav tool and blu tooth adapter? Can you be specific with the parts and maybe a link for them as well?

My apologies, I misspoke I should have said usaspec...

Thanks
So all I need is that uspec? What do I need the Bluetooth for if the spec has an aux or iPhone cable am I correct?
using a cable is not streaming wirelessly, which was the ask.
The USA Spec is great for you American guys, but for us Canadians that didn't get factory XM we have to find some other way to integrate.
Ahhhh... sorry about that.
I get the cock on this one lol . My Canadian 05 does not get the XM or 3.5mm jack lol
but you get free healthcare right? :tomato:
Yeah but we pay for it in taxes tho ! But the 13% is worth it.
