Serious Accident

Yesterday there were 2 ! on the map. I clicked them both and they were both "serious accidents". Knowing that XM traffic is some kind of expensive experiment, I carried on through the ! to the next !. The first ! was serious but traffic slowed and continued. The second ! had the freeway closed.
When you click on the ! to get the details wouldn't it be more useful to have some real information? It seems that there is no difference between the reports and certainly not enough information for me to want to either redirect or carry on. I wonder if there is good information given by the authorities and that it then gets truncated to "serious accident"?
Again, it's a great idea but implemented very poorly. For the price you pay for NavTraffic, it's just funding their R & D. Our only hope is that the other competitive systems get good enough to where NavTraffic will actually have to function.

Just a thought . . . don't most metropolitan areas also have their own traffic channel on XM in the 200s? As the system is, tuning to the appropriate XM traffic channel could give more info.
