Samsung U600 and handsfree

I recently got a Samsung U600 http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_u600-1851.php and it connects to my RL with no problems. Except that the signal strength and battery level don't work. I don't even see the battery level and the signal strength on the MID display is always zero, even though I always have a full signal. I guess there is nothing I can do, huh? For some reason the data is not been sent over to the RL. I wonder if there is any solution to this kind of problem..

It's a pretty common situation. Despite Bluetooth being a "standard" it would seem that many phone makers (as well as Acura) don't really adhere to it, and implementation varies widely from phone to phone, even among the same manufacturer.

Some phones don't display signal strength and battery, and some phones don't work through Acura Link... and many phones don't work at all or work in strange ways, like the Samsung A600, it would pair and let you place calls, but you couldn't hang up the phone....

Someday, maybe, when the next wireless standard comes along, they'll do a better job.

Meanwhile, I think Harold Bluetooth is rolling in his grave....

My new phone actually doesn't work perfectly as my Motorola V3 did. There is a 5 second lag after I press the answer botton on the steering wheel when someone calls me. During the 5-6 second lag the call is actually picked up by the phone. So I can actually talk to the other person from my phone. Then after about 5 seconds the HFL picks up....

Another strange thing...
