I wanted to ask if there is a by pass RGB connector for the 05 or 06 RL? And if there is has anyone actually performed this surgery on the vehicle? I have been trying to go to www.navtel.com from my job but the site is being blocked ... But maybe their is someone who is technically inclined to answer my question here or even suggest something.

I have done the install on my TSX. It is pretty easy to do - and would be very similar on the RL also. The difference is that the TSX trunk was easier to take apart. If you get the service manual from helminc.com for the RL, you will have all the diagrams on how to take everything apart. If you get a plug and play unit, you would get to the back of the navi drive and unplug one harness and plug it into the new unit. Then you plug in the harness from the converter into the navi dvd drive. You would find a power source (fuse box is good) for the red power wire then you would ground the other wire. Finally, you would run an FM modulator wire up to the radio. You would have to pull out the radio from the dash to gain access - but again the helminc.com manual will give you the diagrams you need to do so.
