Rear View Mirror "Darkening"

How dark does your rear view mirror get when a car is behind you? I never thought mine got very dark (yes, it's on) and I was driving the wife's '04 MDX today and the mirror gets a lot darker than my RL. Time to visit the dealer?

Thanks.

My 06 doesn't get very dark either, but instead turns greenish which takes a lot of the glare off nicely.

ditto.

I never really noticed any darkening. But I also never noticed any glare.
