Noticed depending on what key is used to open my 07 RL the preset xm channels and the address book are individualized for each different key. Is there a way to switch over to the other keys preset info?

Good question. I have never been able to do it. If I am Driver 1, and I get in the car and it says Welcome Driver 2, I have to lock and unlock the car with the Driver 1 remote. Often, my wife gets to the passenger door before I get to the driver door, and it goes to Driver 2.

When you lock the car and you are in it, the red alarm indicator goes on. I would not then open the door or anything until you unlock the car (disarming the alarm) with the remote which sets the car to Driver 1. I think I did this once out of curiosity, and the alarm went off.

She says that is Acura's way of training me to make sure to always open the passenger door for her as a gentlemen should, and then I will not have the problem!

I know hitting Mem1 button on the door switches the seat, sterring settings back to Driver1, but cannot remember if it changes XM and Address book - easy enough to test though

Same problem here but I solved it with good old fashioned chivalry. I open the door for her and problem solved!

by the way, someone said that this functionality was changed in 07 (or was it 08). Apparently, the Driver 1 or 2 settings are determined by the last FOB that opens the car on the Driver side.
