Radar Detector and Accessory Power Wiring

Radar Detector and Accessory Power Wiring
I am considering purchasing a radar detector (most likely Valentine 1).
I HATE wiring these devices back to the cigarette lighter. Has anyone had experiance with wiring in accessories on the RL. Are there any known extra power points? I have done a lot of wiring on previous vehicles, but I don't want to start ripping apart this car, if someone has already done the work for me...
Anyone?
thanks,

Thanks bluemule. That thread shows how I did it - and is the only way to do it so you can remove it without leaving any real evidence of it being there - so if your car ever has electrical problems you can just pull it out and the dealer won't know a thing - whereas most people don't use the add a circuit unit and they end up splicing into the power by the rearview mirror.
