Buzzing noise in speakers

Hi people, does anyone start their Rl and get a buzzing noise from the speakers. It sounds like the engine idle noise is coming from the speaker ..

When you open the driver's door, does it go away? If so, it's the ANC module and can be disconnected in the trunk.

I'm having the same problem. Where in the trunk is the ANC module located?

In the right (passenger) quarter panel of the trunk, you will find the amplifier.

There are three harnesses that go to the head unit. The other harness is an ANC module that you can unplug to disable the system. Here are what the radio harnesses look like.

Hi I found out that the Buzzing was coming from the drivers side speaker in the door. It sounds like it is shot. If you can play a cd then open 1 door at a time and listen for the buzzing noise.

Did you find out if the speaker was defective or was it the anc module?

Thumbs up Buzzing in Speakers

Some people would say that the ANC module causes the speaker to buzzz. I say please check your alternator, it may be on the way out. The speakers no longer buzz, once I replaced my failed alternator....

Here is the stereo wiring harnesses. The ANC is the only harness on the opposite side.

Thanks, oo7spy!

I am experiencing buzzing in my front driver side speaker when the ANC is active (mostly when idle around 1,000 RPMs). When I disable ANC using the diagnostic menu, the buzz goes away. Unfortunately, over time, the buzzing has managed to blow the speaker. I'm hoping if I completely disable the ANC system before I replace the speaker, I'll be good to go.

I have exactly same problem with my Legend, driver side speaker acting just like that, strange buzzing noise and brrp brrp when listening music. Noticed it few days ago.

Made little bit more investigations.
That sound appears from idle to 1500rpm then its gone.
No effect if the ANC is off or on, no matter if the car is on park or on gear.
Maybe bad speaker or altenator?

I think that it`s not the altenator, that brrp brrp noise is coming even the car is not idling, just ignition on.

I ended up replacing my amp with a used one I found on ebay for $50. Solved the buzzing issue completely. The ANC module is the small grey box attached to the amp (see photo), make sure the replacement amp includes this piece.

Alternatively, you can simply unplug this module as our mentor/guardian angel @oo7spy has advised.
