OEM Ipod cable conversion to Aux?
This one may be a little different.
06 RL Tech package (CMBS, Run flats, etc.). Has Factory Ipod connector in glove box,...CD Player getting flaky, I don't own an Ipod. I would like to hook up to at least a 3.5mm. Does anyone know if a cable like this will work?
Amazon.com: CableJive dockBoss: Instantly upgrade your audio dock. Connect iPhone or Android smartphones and tablets to a pre-iPhone 5 audio dock. Compatible with Bose SoundDock, iHome, JBL, and many other popular audio docks.: MP3 Players & Accessories
Thanks tech heads. Oh and trying to not spend a lot since I likely will have her for another year only. So A new Ipod is out. And the semi flaky reviews on the USA Spec and Gromm units steer me away |
Just to be totally clear, you are wanting to hook up a non-apple device to the 3.5mm jack and plug the Apple connecter on the other end to the plug in your car? There is no reason it should not work. The 30 pin Apple connector uses analog signals on 2 of the pins to transmit audio. This device is simply taking the analog signal from the HP jack and applying it to the correct pins in the 30 pin connector.
