lately my navi has been acting funny at times. i will either be doing alot of "off roading" or it will say im a few blocks off of where i really am.... it happened like 3 times last week. i know i should call the dealer but will they do a reset of some sort or will it go more in depth then that?? this happening to anyone else?

Mine has been doing this lately as well for the first time since I've owned the car. Pisses me off because it only seems to happen when I actually need it to be accurate.

It's' because your navi is tracking while trying to acquire GPS satellite signals. Even here in the heart of NYC, I've seen it happen to all our family cars - S500, Landcruiser, LX470, LS430, etc..

I've also seen this happen (1) in major cities and (2) during the summer.

Sun flares, hot weather, thunderstorms, and a bunch of other things can affect how the car responds to or interacts with GPS satellites.

It should correct itself within a couple days.
