NAV Traffic doesn't clear accidents

NAV Traffic doesn't clear accidents
I have a very weird symptom. NAV Traffic works but it never clears any traffic incidents. I have collected about 100+ traffic incidents and they are on my NAV.
Has anybody experienced this. I called XM and they sent the NAV Traffic refresh but most likely the tech support guys says I will need a new unit...
Any thoughts..
