MP3 DVDs, DVD-A's and CDs

Ok, here's the deal. I used to have an '06 TL, so I used adobemans scripts (http://home.comcast.net/~adobeman/DVDA/) and made DVD-As for a lot of my music. I used up to 9 groups on 4 Dual Layer Dvds to load in as many as 350-400 songs on each DVD.

Now that I have an RL, I have researched and it seems that you can switch groups on DVD-A. In the TL you could hold down scan and repeat when the DVD was playing and it would switch groups. I guess my first question is, has anyone tried to switch between groups and been successful?

If not, I'm assuming I'll need to reburn my music into 1 group as DVD-A or on a regular CD as MP3 files. What approach do most people here prefer? I'm assuming you can't use a dvd for mp3s and that you have to either go with:
DVD disc = DVD-A tracks
or
CD disc = MP3

And what about tracks over 99, will they not play correctly, i.e. track number 100?

I use CD's burned with MP3's - I get about 140-150 per disc. The tracks above 99 play fine, but I don't think you can select a track above 99 via voice command.
