Has anyone had any issues on a '05 RL w/ sporadic and non consistent crackle noises thru the speakers? Power thru the stereo can be on or off.

Dealer has no idea. They replaced the amp but problem is still there.

Could it possibly be a faulty noise cancellation module? Sorry, but I do not experience that phenom , yet.

 

I'd agree with miner as the ANC works even when the stereo is off. Perhaps a short or a loose connection. Likley a warranty fix.

I have had no issues with the RLs audio system, not even subwoofer vibrations as my TL suffered. The only oddity I have encountered is an occaisional electronic 'pop' when changing XM stations. But that I attribute to the XM signal & reception as it not does not occur with other signal inputs (FM, CD, etc.). I have also experienced that 'pop' with other XM receivers.

 

Thanks for the comments. I'll check with the dealer on these possibilities. So far, no luck replicating the problem when it's at the dealer.
