Acura Navigation Survey - Tell them about the price!

I jumped on the recent $99 navigation disc upgrade since the price was nearly half, and I was running 4.63. I just got a survey from Acura about it, and it seems they are figuring out the price point of $185 is probably high. There are a number of answers in the survey that bring up the cost of the disc. I encourage anyone who gets the survey to give Acura the feedback. Maybe the regular price will come down. Here are a few of the questions in the survey:

What would lead you to purchase a map update in the future? (Please select all that apply)

Wanting to have the newest available release.
Wanting to make sure that my navigation/GPS system works correctly at all times.
A reduced price promotion for the map update
If there were new roads/road layouts in the area(s) I regularly drive.
If there were new regions/areas covered.
Learning that an update would increase my fuel efficiency.

How frequently would you like to purchase a map update at the following price points? (Please select one response for each price point)

Never Once every three years Once every two years Every year More than once per year
$99
$129
$149
$185

Given that there are plenty of mapping methods and traffic information systems that are available for free on your phone or PC that are more up to date and more accurate, I think that the update disc should be 99 cents not 99 dollars.

If you really want to push the envelope, it would make sense to have HDD based GPS that can update it self constantly...

Unfortunately it is tied to the email they send you. I tried accessing the site via a partial link from the email, but it asks for a code:

I would have to agree. Even at $99, the nav and traffic info I get on my android is better, and as you stated, free (assuming you are already paying for the data plan regardless).
