Would you buy your RL again?

I leased the RL in 2005 for three years and turned the car back with 45K trouble free miles (original brakes too). I then leased an M35 which was unsatisfying in many ways (two brake jobs in 30K miles as one example)-the three years took forever for that lease to run out. Last September, I purchased a 2010 RL and for the 15 months I have had it can say it is the best car I have ever owned. The improvements compared to the 2005 were evolutionary but made an excellent vehicle even better. The car is very refined, subtle and classy. This works for me.
I plan to enjoy this car for a long time and will always own one if I am able to.

Same dealership where I bought my '06 CPO, Muller Woodfield. Didn't give much on price, but gave a good deal on the AcuraCare warranty extension, and the service department has been very good so far about honoring the warranty.

Proboscis-free zone
Went to the LA Auto Show recently. It cured me of wanting a new car. The new BMWs look sexy on the outside, yet the interiors suck. Mercedes is even more lame.
The 2012 RL is the same as my 2006 Legend with a slightly more powerful engine and a backup camera. Also a hideous proboscis on the front end, plus excessive chrome and junk-in-the-trunk on the hind end. Not an improvement.
So...at 89,000 miles, not yet 5K miles into my second set of PAX tires and just broken in...my Legend is as good as the day I bought it new, and worth FAR more than the paltry $13,600 trade-in value that Edmunds assigns.
I'd only consider an '07 or '08 Legend as a replacement if it were totaled.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. I wish I'd had a way of keeping the RL AND my CTS-V. It's a reason I hang out around here still, pining for an RL, hoping the styling and tech are updated. I'll be on the board here when the new RL debuts in New York in April.

Buy again???
Would not buy another Black one. Like they say, the happiest two day of your ownership....are the day you buy it and the day you sell it.

I owned a black TL ten years ago, the one that brought me to this site. As much as I loved the color, I will never, ever, own one again if I can help it.
