why does my alarm keep going off?

why does my alarm keep going off?
My alarm on my 2006 Acura rl keeps going off randomly it's happened 3 times in the middle of the night and the other day durring the day anyone know what causes this? It's the stock alarm any help thanks.

i had this problem with my 2012 tl it was a faulty door sensor that thought the door was open when it was not causing the alarm to keep going off

It's quite possibly your door handle beginning to short out. Pull fuse #7 and see if it stops. This will disable the door handle sensors.

Have you ever washed the car with the fob in your pocket?

Yea I've washed my car with fob in pocket is this no good? And how much is it to fix door sensors?
