why can't i control the passenger window from driver side

Do I have a setting wrong or is there a problem w the car???

Can you work the rear windows? If not then the master switch is off, located by the controls on your door.

Even with master switch off the driver should be able to control all windows, right?

nope, it shuts off the power to the switches, you will see the lights on the switch turn off when you push the lock button for the windows.

There's a problem with the car. Have your dealer look at it for you.

I've had this happen previously. The dealer had to "re-program" the switch. It took a few seconds, required no hardware/shop-time, and just happened the once.

Hopefully yours is the same issue.
