Well had some fun last night I have to admit. Met up with my old VW buddies for a beers but before heading to Twin Peaks we decided to head down to Mexico. I personally didn't expect to do anything just watch, but had to play catch up with them to prevent getting lost lmao. Turns out the speed limiter on the car is very aggressive lol.

The only thing keeping me from removing the mufflers is it's a PITA to reinstall if I don't like it. Mexico is always fun to watch.

.

Can you take a picture of what they did underneath?

Do you mean you removed the mufflers and have straight pipe now instead?

Nice Sound... What is the OD of the stock piping, going into the stock mufflers? I see that daze05rl mentioned 2.25 but I wasn't sure it that was stock size or he went to another size piping. Thanks.

With my car relegated to the garage with the Takata recall campaign, I've been debating unbolting the exhaust from the resonator flange all the way back to the mufflers just to get an idea what it sounds like....

LOL, that was me just gently saying: "I don't care much about outside sound because I'm inside while driving" :P. On the other hand, nobody else asked for interior sound...so I've got no clue how you drive your cars in the USA to care more about outside sound .
