Whoa, I'm so fast...

I just turned 1,000 miles. My average speed...a whopping 20 mph. I just gotta get out of town!

Can't say for sure since the mpg resets at every fill-up (I think - tell me if I'm wrong!), and I don't pay too much attention to it. But it's been as low as 13.7, and I don't think it's been over 15.

I have a miserable commute. Going to work I hit 51 traffic lights travelling 12 miles.

Think on the positive side... but what a great car to get stuck in traffic with... gives you loads of time to listen to the sound system...

You're right, but...In the last 10 years I've been hit 4 times. Not one of them was my fault (honest!). So I sit in the car and obsess over whether today is the day I take another hit. It really takes the fun out of it. Well, most of the fun, not all of it!

Driving in Philly sux big time.

It took me 55 minutes to go 12 miles today due to a small amount of snow remaining from yesterday. My avg speed is now back down to 19. Maybe I'll race home tonight to get it back to 20.

man you suck. I am averaging a whopping 22mph (35km/h) on this tank of gas and am getting the equiv of 15.5 or so mpg but I think that is simply because I had 80km worth of highway driving a couple weeks ago. hehehe

damn I hate driving in the city

I know exactly what you mean... my head is always on a swivel... can't stand those idiots who tailgate or cut in front of me (with less than a car's length).

Thanks for making me feel better about my commute in Miami. 50 miles per day with an average of 2 hours in the car. That's why I won't settle for anything less than the best!

P.S. No snow, but we sure get our share of monsoons.
