I've looked everywhere, on Google at least and Ebay I've looked at the black market around here, maybe there is an answer to my question but I probably haven't looked hard enough but basically after looking around I want this grill right here

To my mind, that is standard Honda Legend grill only some carbon film over original chrome`s

The thing is about $700. And its pretty dumb imo to put a Honda badge on an Acura. Just go buy an accord.

I know this. But why would you want to devalue your car by slapping a Honda badge on it and making it look like you own the cheaper base Honda. People want to feel like they are getting something for their 50K they spend on Acura vehicles and to drive it around and be proud of it when everyone else is driving their cheap piece of shit Fords and Chrysler.

If someone were to hand me the keys to an Acura NSX or a Honda NSX, I would take the Honda. At least there would be a chance to get a type-R. The Honda Legend has more features than the RL.


The image argument is rather silly and pretty shallow. People don't buy Acura's for the badge anyway. It's just a dressed up Honda; right? If anything, I would change it over just to show people how great of a car Honda can make and how stupid they are for labeling a cars potential by its brand.

It's not about devaluing the car to me, I just personally think that the JDM grill looks a lot better than the stock Acura RL grill. I'm fine with it being Honda anyways, the RL pretty much looks like an Accord anyways.

I don't believe changing an Acura to a Honda is a downgrade at all, if I drove an RSX/Integra I would probably change it to the Honda, I believe Honda makes great cars.

But I was just wondering where I could look to buy the JDM grill, though if it is really above my price range, I'd probably just paint my grill black or something.

You can try emailing this company www.optauto.com or www.myautofashion.com as they can get pretty much any JDM parts. It won't be cheap but you would definately a few people to have this around.

As for the carbon fiber, it was custom made. I had a fab guy overlay it for me.
