What should I do????

My mother's car 97 Eldorado expired over the weekend. IMHO, the $7k+ repair costs are more than the car is worth and it's time for her to get something that will be more reliable. Too bad it didn't happen a month ago because her car would have been a perfect clunker trade-in.. but I digress.

The point is that while my mom was visiting for 6 weeks, I drove my 200k mile Expedition as a daily driver and left the RL for her to drive around. During that time, she fell in love with the RL (I just bought it in May). After a couple of weeks, it was obvoious to both of us that she loves it more and joked (somewhat seriously) about taking the RL off my hands whenever I decide to get rid of it. At the time, neither of us thought that day would come so soon.

At any rate, I've agreed to have it delivered to her later this week. Now I need to decide what I'll drive next.... Should I

a) Look for a good deal on a new 2008 RL that's still in inventory
b) wait for the ZDX
c) move on to another AWD vehichle (Audi Q7, Infiniti FX, etc.)

If you still want to buy a NEW, 2008 RL ... a local Acura dealer here in Northern California had 4 of them in stock. He was desperate to sell them at HUGE discount. (12-15k off)

If you still want an RL, I'd stick with that.

$12-15k off a new one is a HUGE discount for a 2008....
