As title says, I am looking to have a shop build me a custom cat back for my 05 RL. What is a reasonable price to pay for this (excluding parts). I’d probably go with 2.5 inch piping. There aren’t many exhaust shops in my area so I’d like to have an idea of what a reasonable price is before going to the shops.

Granted I haven't worked in an exhaust shop in over ten years but I would have probably quoted you three to four hours of labor given I'd be working from scratch and making sure everything lined up with the mufflers, etc. So whatever the hourly rate is for the shop may give you a good idea. However its probably easiest to visit two or three and get an estimate. Most will not charge for estimates.
