This car has so many antennas (GPS, OnStar, XM, FM). I just wonder which one is where and specifically what is this distinguishing keel antenna on the roof of the car. Can somebody knowledgable post a short summary?

GPS, if it's like the other Acuras, has the antenna inside the cabin. Onstar and XM are combined into the antenna on the roof. The FM antenna is integrated into the lines on the upper portion of the rear glass.

I am going to guess the one on the roof is for Onstar &/or XM since us Canucks don't get either service and we dont have the antenna on the roof.

I'm pretty sure the antenna is an XM/Onstar mix. I know that all the XM equipped cars have antennas similar to the RL's, and Onstar requires an exterior mounted antenna as well.

Seems as though everyone's into making "artistic" antennas nowadays (think Audi & BMW's "shark fin"). I personally love the RL's antenna...has much the same flair, and it's far more subtle.
