hey guys so i recently bought my RL, and while the pain looks well maintained and amazing i wanted to do the clear bra but that is expensive so i thought for now as im recovering from spending on an engagement ring and this beauty i would go with they plastic bra what do you guys think being my car is black.

I mean, if it's only temporary I guess it'll be okay. I personally wouldn't mind since the purpose of it is to keep rock chips off instead of looking nice. But considering the car is used, is there already a good amount of rock chips on it? If you do get a clear bra later on, I'd advise you to get the full hood and fenders, not the half. I have the half hood and fenders, and rocks still manage to go beyond the clear bra cut off point.

i say go for it, your car is black and so is the bra. if it were a different colour i would say no.

IMHO it looks cleaner without the bra. You bought a nice looking car; I say show it off to its full potential. With that money, you are half way to new tint or springs.

Agreed 100% ^^ My neighbor has a same color as yours and when he install his, IMO it looks weird. The only reason I'd put one on if I'm going on a road trip.

and yes it will be temporary, just till i get the money to pay for the full fender hood and bumper, i didnt like the halfway cut off, so i asked and they said $850. yet like you guys say $850 can be used for other mods, and tint is coming soon, i usually put tint once i buy my cars, i have 5% on my last tl and 50 on the windshield but that was when i had it registered in MD, but now that i have it in another state i think ill do 20% + i have to put the sticker on the front windshield so wont have tint there. unless someone knows how to put a mod that can hold the sticker without removing tint or scratching it.

also on spring i am trying to get the Hr and aspec struts, but seller might sell car with them so will wait on.

and i agree it would be good for long road trips but just want to protect it know before winter because this paint looks spot less, no rock chips what so ever. looks fresh. and i found the owner who had this car and he took the car where i always took my tl and hes a good guy that told me he took car of it like his wife.

I'll snap some pictures once he put it back on. If I were you I'll use the $850.00 on different mods more important like tint,springs, etc..... So what in MD do you use to live ?
