What could be wrong?
Symptoms:
Driving the car ('05 RL) and then suddenly, power completely shuts off for a second or two, and then comes back. Warnings that pop op include check emissions and also the power steering warning. This happened a few times since Saturday. I don't think this has to do with the battery. Car starts up fine, and even was stored for 2 weeks while on vacation and immediate start-up. Bringing the car to the dealership on Wednesday. I just hope the power cut doesn't happen again in the interim.

Reason I say this is because this just happened to my 05. Only difference is the SH-AWD warning came on with the check charging system wanrning. Then it wouldnt start back up. Got it towed to Acura and they stated Aletrnator gave no readings. Hopefully yours gets resolved

I doubt it's the alternator if it continues to run.
The car will run off the charge from the alternator. Once you start a car, you can remove the battery and the car will continue to run as it's drawing the power it needs from the alternator. You just can't start it again unless you re-install the battery.
Typically if the alternator isn't charging the car will draw it's power from the battery and when the battery is dead, the car will stall as it can no longer run it's systems (i.e. spark, fuel pump and fuel inection).
If the car is cutting out and then comes back I wonder if it has to do with the main circuit. There may be a short that is occuring that it interrupting power and it's causing the trouble codes.
A power interruption while moving will cause the power steering light to come on. I've done that where while in motion (don't remember the reason why I did it), I would put the car in neutral, quickly turn the car off and then restart it. Since it's in neutral you can't completely turn the knob off but the restart causes a power interruption. Once it restarted the power steering idiot light would go on. It would only turn off after I stopped the car, put it in park and completely turn the car off and restart it.

You just got the car and already having issues? Hope it doesn't get worse.
In regards to OP I hope you resolve your issues. What I've seen from my end when I park my RL for days without starting the car hesitate on the pick up and once the car gets warm no problem.

.... .... .... ... ....
that happened to me before...
i was driving in the rain and the car lost power where everything locked up. It was a very scary situation. This nightmare lasted 2 seconds tops. I pulled over and checked the battery and the negative terminal was loose.

I had the loose cable terminal issue on Legend #1, except on the positive terminal. I didn't lose complete power, but all of the electronics (radio, radar, ect.) would reset sporadically when I was driving. Tightening fixed it right up.

Did it match the symptoms like I had? (Thread here: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rl-2005-2012-76/random-power-outages-792450/)
If so, loose terminal. Even though Acura checked the battery and said it was fine........

Not CPO, but I have a 100k extended warranty I purchased from Acura. Because of all the electronic goodies, I decided to get an extended warranty (Thank God)!

OK guys, just an update.... issue was due to some corrosion around the battery terminals. It didn't look too bad, so never thought this was the issue. But after removing the battery and further inspection, looked like a through cleaning wouldn't hurt. After cleaning them up well, seems to have eliminated the issue.
