I leased my first RL in 2005.

I put about $3200 down and payments of $530 for 36 months.

My lease is just about up and I am looking at the Cadillac CTS
simply because the lease rates on the RL have skyrocketed in
the past 2 years. Someone I know is leasing a 2008 loaded for
$800 per month. Unreal!

I am interested in the 2008 with just the Tech package.

I am hoping that I can get the same deal that I got in 2005 (see above).

I am interested to hear what sort of recent lease deals those of
you with a 2008 TECH PACKAGE ONLY have gotten.

No offense, but I think your friend got taken. That sounds way a bit too high for an RL unless the lease is a very short term w/ a high-mileage allowance.

You need to take into consideration that I believe the advertised
2008 lease is for their standard version WITHOUT Tech or Pax.

That makes a HUGE difference!

Yep, the advertised lease is for the base model.... Tech or CMBS/PAX lease rates are probably higher...

My dealer is telling me the tech package costs $80
more per month over the $499 lease.

He says he can do significantly better for me.

We shall see. I go there later today.

I suspect you'll get a better deal after March 3. That will be when the present incentives expire and probably within 1-2 months of the 09's arriving in dealer lots...
