Video on nav screen

I currently have the USAspec adapter to play my music from my iPhone but does anyone know if there's a additional piece I could buy so I can play/stream video from my phone to play on the nav? I tried searchin but I only see old threads I don't know if there updated options. I have an 06 RL Cmbs wit backup camera. Thanks in advance

Search for "NavTool." Won't be compatible with anything with the lightning connector though.

Nope. Apple has not, and probably will not, release a lightning to composite video adapter. Sucks too because I have the NavTool and a MediaBridge audio adapter and was planning to set it all up to be able to watch video from my iPhone on my car screen. Probably wouldn't have used it much anyway so I'm not too sad about it.

The NavTool also allows you to add a backup camera. That's the main reason I got it.

I take that back. This is new:

There are plenty of VGA to Composite video adapters out there so, with the right connections, you could make it work.

we covered this in a different thread there are options if you do a little research.

The down side is that no one here has tried them yet.
