Welcome to the forums! Indeed, the RL is a great car that is under-rated. Does your wife drive an RL? Or another Acura?

Why? I am confused whenever I hear or read a comment like this. The RL is what it is.

Most informative buyers do research. they know that the RL is not powered by a V8 that flys of the line and zooms to 60 in a flash of an eye. They also know that it has the level of power and quickness to meet and master most every kind of highway emergency situation

What the RL is, is that it is an underestated, modestly priced, very hi tech luxury sedan . . . and, these are the reasons people buy it. I did and I love my RL just the way it is.

I agree. Also, if you want to "dress up" your RL, there's always A-spec. I didn't go that route personally, instead I just had the dealer include splash guards and a spoiler. I've gotten lots of positive comments on the RL. Then again, I live in Northern VA, where many Japanese-car aficionados live.

I didn't go for a car with more speed (power) or style (bling) because I wanted a reliable follow-up to a 2004 TL. The RL is everything I wanted and more...

RL is a bargain for me !

I find myself to be very happy with my RL. I have had many cars in my life, but none have made me as happy as my RL. New or Used it is still a hell of a car that
suits my needs here in Montana. Now that I have about 21k on the car it is coming along quite well. It handles well in ice and snow and make me feel secure
and relaxed in the process. It has more neat stuff than most of us know how to use proficiently. I'm finding new things all the time !

Just my opinion, I hope you enjoy your RL as much as I have.

what the heck does "lack in style and futuristic" mean? I mean I know what the style part means but futuristic? HUH?

As for it lacking in style...I don't think so. I haven't met one person in my daily life that doesn't think the car looks good. I read about people on the net who say it lacks style but these people apparently don't exist near me and seem to be in the minority.
