Use '09+ Glovebox in '08 RL?

Was curious if anyone attempted to use a glove box from a 2009+ RL in the 04-08 models. It seems they are available and the images are close - maybe a long shot but looking for alternatives for the beige color in my '08. Thanks.

Just curious, which parts of the glove box are you referring to below, all of #14?

Here's a black one in Elyria,OH:

There is a black one on ebay; however, it looks rough ($249+50 shipping) utterly ridiculous.
They have it listed for 05-12 RL but is does not look correct?

You can use car-part.com and check your area for salvage units, as thoiboi suggested above, because to pay the OEM price just for the front is quite the $$$ hit?
Good Luck!

Interesting. Here's some pics of one I found for an '05-'08 that is no longer available (https://25honda.com/products-rl/2005...love-box-taupe). They do seem close to the pics on eBay. I'll check with an Acura parts guy to see what their return policy is and maybe give it a new one a shot...

A new 2009 unit will probably fit no problem because the only thing that has changed is the 'suffix' alpha/numeric of the part #.
According to the website below, the '...suffix tells detail about the part itself.'
That difference being the color designation only, as you can see below.

Decoding Honda and Acura part numbers - Ultra Racing USA, LLC - Chassis Tuning Specialist Since 2001 (ultraracing-usa.com)

The prefix and root have stayed the same; therefore, it should fit.
You'll just have the rest of the components to store away or put the up on ebay to try to recoup some $$$.
