Traded in my '05 RL for a 2010 RL Tech

Hey guys,

Just like miner I also traded in my old RL for a new 2010 RL. I picked up my new 2010 RL Tech last Sat. on July 31st.

And I have to give a BIG shout out to stagefoursurvivor for helping me the pricing !

Congrats on your new RL - if yours sat on the lot as long as mine did you will need a good clay bar to remove the fallout from the paint. I spent 8 hrs Saturday doing a true detail ont he car. Only item I miss from my '06 is the adjustable headrest.

saw a 2010 white Rl on the road last night. It really looked good. The grill was not too bad from afar, and the rear had alot of nice creases, that reflected the light well. Very E class like though (good or bad).
Similar situation with my 06 RL. Can't decide what to buy, the M37/56x, 535/550x or keep and buy a vette, or cayman s.
The RL has so many nice features that especially in the BMW the option list really drives the cost up to get a similarly equipped car. The M is very nice on the inside but a little too much on the outside. I may wait to see the 11 RL.

Congrats on the new ride, drive in good health.

I'm interested to read you comparison to your 05 vs. 10. Notice the power difference? Notice the more rear bias of the 10' sh-awd? Anything else like interior, etc?

Congrats! Can I ask a favor of you (or any other 2010 owner that wants to chime in)? I'd like to confirm that the spare tire in your 2010 is size T155/70D17.

I'm trying to see whether the 2010 spare I just ordered will fit my 2006, which was de-paxed with 18s off a 2009. I figured I'd better buy it before it disappeared, so I'm hoping...

At that point my Franken-RL will be complete.
