Took RL in for service (more of a rant than anything)

I can't really tell you how the audio system compares because they didn't have the Mark Levinson audio system on the lot. When I get it, I can tell you. From what I have heard, it is fantastic, I expect it to be excellent.
The IS also plays dvd movies when parked - and will play dvd audio while driving - from regular dvds - like the M35. So the concerts on DVD - the music will play while driving, but the video will not.
BIG drawback from the IS is that you can't program the nav while driving. There is a hack, but still - that is a big downside.

Three Wheelin'
Vik, I can't help but think that, after driving the RL with SH-AWD and the Wintersport M3's on, the IS is going to be an exercise in frustration until the spring comes. You'd better get snow tires on ASAP or even wait until spring to take delivery of the Lexus. Part of me still thinks that you'll be trading in the IS for the new Acura "unamed sports coupe" that is rumoured to be coming out in a couple of years - especially if it has 330 hp and SH-AWD and comes available with a 6 speed. We will miss your insights regarding the RL - good luck with the new Lexus.
