Test drove a 328i and then ...
And then I saw the IIHS video of small offset crash results.
OUCH
Given the TL did way better on this new small offset test (guessing 2009 TL is based on RL's ACE structure) I wonder how the old 2g RL would do. We'll never know as I'm guessing the RLX will get this test.
Looks OK but result is Poor for lower leg/foot, marginal for cage structure.
Volvo S60, TL, Passat, and Honda Accord all did way better ... TSX not so much.

I guess the 5.6s 0-60 makes up for the 4 cylinders, but @ $50k and lack of safety, no thanks. And people are upset an RLX is running over $50k...
