Steering Wheel Vibration at Idle

Steering Wheel Vibration at Idle
My new '06 RL is now at 4500 miles. Yesterday I was stopped at a light and experienced a noticeable vibration while holding the steering wheel. This condition now seems to be permanent. It doesn't matter if the car is in gear or not. I don't notice any vibration at city or highway speed only at idle. I turned off the audio and the A/C. The motor is still as quiet as a church mouse, but the vibration is present. Until yesterday unless I looked at the tach, I couldn't tell for sure if the motor was running. I'll be bringing the car in for its first oil change within the next week or two and see what the techs have to say.
Has anyone had a similar experience?

mine has a noticeable vibration at idle, but I think it is only for the first 10 minutes or so of operation.
