Steering Wheel

This may be a dumb question but does anyone else's steering wheel not line up perfectly straight while the wheels are pointed forward?

I had the wood grain steering wheel and shift knob put on my car at time of purchase and I think they may have put the steering wheel on slightly crooked.

When I'm driving straight it looks like I'm taking a slight right turn. The Acura logo is pointing between 12:00 and 1:00.

Any advice?

You should return to the dealer who installed the wood grain wheel and have them correct THEIR MISTAKE. Unfortunately, one of the problems with dealer installed accessories is the reliance upon a sometimes questionable workforce of technicians.

Welcome to the forums. Since this is more of a general question and not related to rims/tires I moved it to the main forum.

I had this problem with my TL with the optional a-spec steering wheel. The dealer did an alignment which fixed the problem. This may be the same thing, I would go back to your dealer and talk to them. They should not charge you for this if it was like this when you bought the vehicle.

Installing the steering wheel is like meshing two gears together and they likely installed it "one tooth" off center.

I had this on my S4 and it was driving me bananas. I won't go into how it was finally fixed but the whole thing turned me off so badly I swore never to buy an Audi again, no matter how good they look or drive.

Take your car back to the dealer have them make it right.

They will either take off the steering wheel and rotate it one spline to the left or adjust the alignment, probably the latter as it should less labor intensive.

Thanks Gentleman.

It's a minor issue but its amazing how bad it will drive you crazy. All of a sudden you develop a case of obsessive/compulsiveness where all you look at while your on a straight away is how your Acura logo on the steering wheel is off center!!!

I'll set up an appointment today.
