Sold My Other AWD Car

Needed to get rid of my 2nd car I've had for 10 years. I don't have time for it anymore. I put selling it as a condition for buying my RL just because I've been putting it off. One step closer... now I'm just looking for the right deal on an RL and I'm buying. My current daily driver is a stock TL.

Here's a pic. This car was all performance. All forged internals, turbo upgrade, etc...

You can get a good indication of my style. I plan on a wheel and suspension upgrade to the RL.

Whoa...that looks bitchin. Looks like it needs an upper lid blepharoplasty. :<)

The off-axis hood scoop is kewl. I imagine you have to watch those concrete curbs in parking lots with a front overhang like that one.

Thanks. Believe it or not that hood scoop is stock. From the factory they had top mount intercoolers which made the NACA style scoop very functional. Those AWD turbo Impulses were amazing cars. Rear wheel drive bias, plus handling by Lotus suspension.

Another, just because I miss it.

And, yes had to be very careful with parking blocks. I'll never buy another fiberglass kit. I cracked it once and had to repair it. That was enough for me. I needed it though. It provided better airflow than the stock bumper. BTW the intercooler is only half exposed. You can actually see the top of it just below the Isuzu emblem on the grill.

What's the front to rear torque split on the RL? I've read somewhere that under normal driving conditions it's about 70% on the front wheels? I kind of like a rear biased setup, but not really a big issue. This blue car you see pictured handled like a rear wheel drive car for the most part with extra grip up front. What are the RL's driving characteristics?

Thanks.
